Your
child will need a small healthy
snack every day. Please place your child's snack in a separate bag
labeled so your child can easily put it in his/her cubby. Appropriate
items would be fruit, pretzels, crackers, or yogurt. As you prepare your
child’s snack, keep in mind
that we only have a few minutes to enjoy it. You should also send in a
beverage
for your child, but again keep in mind our time restraints. A small
juice box,
or small bottled water.
While
the purchasing of hot lunch is
available to you, we encourage you to pack a lunch for your child for
the first few weeks of school. It takes a while for the children to get
used to all of
the new routines and we find that it takes the children a longer time to
eat when
they first start school.
