Congratulations to students from Eisenhower Elementary School and Piscataway High School who were honored at the May 8 Board of Education meeting! They are part of the Eisenhower Reading Buddies program, in which students in the PHS Future Educators Association work with Eisenhower kindergartners each week to strengthen their reading skills. Eisenhower Principal Vincenzo Stio shared a video created by technology coordinator Alyssa Park of the students working together, then everyone received certificates from Board President Shantell Cherry for sharing their talents and dedication with the Board. The students are supported by Eisenhower support specialists Janelle Burley, Stacey Cukierski, and Lisa Pizzuti, PHS Supervisor of College, Career & Personal Guidance Kelly Chilakos, and English teacher and FEA adviser Jillian Alonso.
